- This site contains a lot of information on obesity and overweight issues in children. Is this a commercial website where you are trying to sell something? If not who sponsored the site.
- The site was developed from funding by the Centers for Disease Control, which is a Federal Agency that is concerned about prevention of diseases, including that dealing with nutrition and physical activity. Kansas State University developed the web-site as the funds were given to them for this purpose. However, there were many other agencies involved with the development of the site including: Kansas Department of Education, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas Action for Children, United Methodist Ministry Health Fund, the Sunflower Foundation, Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, the Kansas Health Foundation, and Kansas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
