  4. The intervention has specific and measurable objectives that address one or more of the following:

  5. The intervention is:

    1. Engaging to the target audience



    2. Interactive



    3. Skills-based



  6. The intervention can be adapted to a variety of situations and environments.



  7. The intervention can be assessed and monitored and includes an evaluation component.



  8. The goals of the intervention are supported by results from evaluation data.



  9. The intervention supports easy implementation by providing the following:

    1. Clearly written and user-friendly instructions



    2. Training resources



    3. Contact information to obtain technical support or additional resources



    4. Instructions or materials in languages in addition to English



  10. The intervention is cost-effective and resources (staff, budget, grant dollars) are available for its implementation.



  11. The intervention fits into required mandates, has a positive effect on target audience achievement outcomes and would help meet state and nutrition and physical activity standards.



  12. The intervention can be integrated across all aspects of the target audience's environment.



  13. The intervention has strong support from critical audiences and all relevant stakeholders that were involved with its planning.



  14. The intervention is sustainable, not just a one-time or irregularly implemented event.
