- The intervention is practical and realistic.
- The goal/purpose of the intervention is clearly stated and easy to understand by multiple audiences.
- The intervention has specific and measurable objectives that address one or more of the following:
- Knowledge
- Attitudes
- Skills
- Behaviors
- Policy
- Environment
- The intervention is
- Age or developmentally appropriate and
- Culturally relevant.
- The intervention is
- Engaging to students
- Interactive and
- skills-based
- The intervention can be adapted to a variety of situations and environments.
- The intervention can be assessed and monitored and includes an evaluation component.
- The goals of the intervention are supported by results from evaluation data.
- The intervention supports easy implementation by providing the following:
- Clearly written and user-friendly instructions
- Training resources
- Contact information to obtain technical support or additional resources
- Instructions or materials in languages in addition to English
