Physical Activity Opportunities
Through out the day there are a number of things you can do to allow your body to move more. Remember, the littlest things can make the biggest difference. Look for opportunities to increase physical activity.
- When possible, walk instead of drive
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator
- Park the car farther away from your destination
- Walk the kids home from school or activities
Set realistic goals regardless of the physical activity tips you choose (add 15 minutes each day and/or spend an hour on weekends).
